Vegas Times

  If you have been reading my other blogs you already know how much I love the outdoors.  Well, we got a cabin last summer and we don’t get to go up very often but maybe that was what made the difference with me. Each time we went up there, a new season had arrived.  I walked the same areas every time we were up there and I saw the changes in the trees; almost like they were slowly revealing the different parts of their personalities.  So, I decided to memorialize each of the different sides of their personalities with my Cannon Power Shot SX210iIS. We first went up there in late summer.  All the trees were bright, green and bold.  They were full of confidence, feeling strong and unafraid of anything.  I just wanted to capture them as a group, just hanging out. The next time we went up there summer had passed.  The trees were beginning to change into their fall coats.  The air was crisp and the colors almost hypnotized me.  No two trees were alike.  Some trees had put on these gorgeous red and yellow coats and others started losing their leaves all together as if they were more nervous of winter coming and were preparing for the worst.  Others remained green, as if stubborn, like children not wanting to put on their jackets to go out and play.  I wanted to capture all their personalities and I laid on the ground, underneath them as if....
