What’s better than having one man serenade you? Three of course! It’s no rumor…Love is in the Las Vegas air. Boyz II Men are all grown up and here to stay, at least for the next 18 months any way.

The crooning trio signed a contract to begin a residency at the Mirage Hotel and Casino on March 1. They will perform some of their chart topping records such as “I’ll Make Love to You” and “On Bended Knee” in the Terry Fator showroom. The show also pays tribute to preceding Motown legends by covering songs “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination” and more. Performance days are Friday through Saturday and tickets will start at $40.

After a 30 day trial run at the Flamingo Hotel in December 2011, the nightly packed house made it a no brainer to keep the group here. Still moving and harmonizing as though it’s 1991, the boys have definitely become men and sound as good as day 1.   The group trio is comprised of baritone Nathan Morris along with tenors Wanya Morris and Shaw Stockman who became group members in 1990 at Motown Records.  For those of you who thought the group was a quartet, you are correct. Michael McCary was the 4th member who retired in 2003 due to health issues.

As perhaps one of the best male groups of all time, Boyz II Men has set new record in longevity. Their smooth acappella harmonies have sent them to the top of the charts and breaking industry records.  Spending 16 weeks at number 1 on the Billboard’s Hot 100 with single “One Sweet Day” (with Mariah Carey) the broke the record held by Elvis Presley.
